Ok the diode setting uses its battery to pass current through it and calculates the voltage drop.

The 150 K is high and I feel it's damaged and should be replaced.

.531vdc? Do you mean ohm? It should low resistance in one direction and very high resistance in the other.

A diode will drop .7V across it.

Cannot make out the resistor markings.

The diode is of the IN4000 series and a IN4002 will probably work.

Can you post a closer shot of the resistor as it blurs when I zoom in?
