Alpha Gen 2 I/O? The raw water pump is mount in the top of the lower unit. A bad impeller will result in overheat and kill the engine. Cheap maintance to replace vs engine replacement.

The tranducer is probably loose and has an air pocket between it and the hull. The problem is it is still bonded to tight to remove without damage.

Best bet is to get a new one that is either...
