Yep I know it is a two stroke just was not cure...

Yep I know it is a two stroke just was not cure if it had oil injection or old style mix in the gas.

I don't know enough about this engine but I would suspect either cable/linkage issue or possibly dirty carbs. Does this engine have oil...

Not 100 percent sure but from what I know outboards are assembled in neutral so to answer your question yes.

I know with Alpha drives the lower must be installed while in forward gear and Bravos are done in neutral.

How did you install yours?

The crack is tight so doubt much water pressure would be lost.

The white sleeve connects the pump output to the water tube in the upper half. Look to see if the old one stayed on the upper tube.
