it was sitting for almost a year. the only thing i could think is they entered through the vent hose and had a cozy home until i bought it!!! :thumb:

Really!!! So I fixed it. Turns out there was stuff in the Anti Siphon valve. Ok not just stuff a family of earwigs? I replaced the valve boat runs like a champ. Actually got it up to 40 today. ...

If it does have a rev limiter then i would suspect that is what i am hitting. Yes after taking apart the top half of the carb and reassembling it ran perfectly at WOT I was running about 4800 RPM's...
