It collects on the right side of the stringer, not in the middle of the bilge. If facing the stern it's the left side of the engine.

I am trying to figure out a water leak on my port engine. The amount of water is not much but noticeable underneath the engine . I had a new impeller housing put on thinking that was the problem but...
