I am not wanting to take them off. Just wanted to spin them around by hand. Your typically stern drive prop can be spun with one finger. My V-drive props take a lot of effort to get them to budge.

Thanks for the article. I plan on going under and taking a look this weekend. And too see if I can feel any movement when I lift on the prop.

I have owned 5 boats over the last 25+ years with our 3700 SCR being the first inboard.

Weekend before last while idling into the marina I heard a faint high pitch squeal from the starboard side...
