Looking good! I have always had good luck with Meguirs PlastX cleaner and polish. Seems to get out all scratches and polishes up to a nice shine as well. You can probably find at local auto parts...

I have not decided what I am going to do to help there, may opt to pull them and paint them or something. That is all the woodgrain is, just paint.
