I haven't seen one of these as yet .. how big would the ice holding area be ? Is there some kind of switch that turns the maker off when the ice bin is full ? ...

Hi,

I'm about to order a 3100SY from my local dealer, only problem is that I think a cockpit fridge would be more useful than the ice maker, but apparently there's no option for a fridge any more....
