Thanks a ton. Should have the engine out by tomorrow morning. Then re-installed in a couple weeks. Hopefully we'll have it up and running before too long.

My concerns are once the engine is removed will there be added stress on the transom because the engine is not providing the counterweight? Or does it have enough support from other means?

You don't need the isolator but it really makes it easier when charging either my running the alternator or by external source. I'm gonna go with the isolator eventually.
