Hello everyone, quick question about should i replace a carb that has been rebuilt two times or buy a new Merc carb or go different brand, The 5.7l 350 260 hp 2bbl Merc carb is on now. runs horribly....

Hello, Has anyone used a freshwater flush kit on an older model 5.7l Mercruiser 1997 2 bbl carb, alpha 1 gen 2 drive? not on the outdrive on the engine itself.

Ok, just put a new water pump on and started the engine for the first time on muffs only not in the water yet and noticed water drip on manifold from the shift cable where can the water be coming...

I was able to get it on but looks super tight as the old hose had a better bend , the new hose has no bend. And there’s no way to remove the plug unless you remove fuel filter first, just wondering...
