Problem solved, we believe must have been restricted flow in one of the hoses we replaced... Ran like a top last night at full speed and all areas of engine below 130 degrees.

1990 2755 New to me
Just bought 1990 Maxum 2755 with Mercruiser 454 Engine... Only 1 hour on the water so far... she's a beauty but, does need some minor work.
