You are probably best to have the boat pulled so you can inspect the bottom. If there is more than one spot of damage you dont want to miss any. Plus you will be able to sand the bottom in the area...

Most modern boats are advertised as Length at Water Line (LWL) not Length Over All (LOA).
My 2800 is 28' LWL but 29'9" LOA from swim platform to bow pulpit.
