ok I'm stumped. Pump out hose....
I'm replacing the sanitation hoses on my 99 4600 maxum and I thought I could take out the 3 screws on the deck fitting (waste pump out) and just pull up the hose, unscrew the hose clamp and continue...

What is this vent for or where does it go?
There is vent or intake in the galley and not sure what it's for. Any help is appreciated. I believe its for the large black hose in my second picture which goes to the fwd head I think?? but why.
