I went thru that with my 6.2's, my engines were running ok, but on the exhaust cycle I was dumping fuel into my exhaust system, it took me 2 years to figure out the the paint inside the fuel cooling...

Generation 3 fuel pump/ cooler, the paint inside of it peels off and clogs your fuel pressure regulator and this makes the boat piss up unburn fuel into the exhaust making your boat very inefficient...

yep sorry. on mine there is no raw water in the riser just the elbow, I replaced them last year. I thought you were looking to replace them, I guess it depends the way your exhaust system angle...
