Ok....put the boat in drive, disassembled LU, put in neutral and reassembled. Worked!!! Took it on the river last night and ran it for about 30 mins up and down at full throttle.....no overheating!...

Ok. So getting to the impeller was very easy save the lower unit being stubborn in coming off. As long as it goes back on with the same effort I would suggest no one with this type of motor ever pay...
