On my 1999 I was able to run the drain line thru the bottom of the bilge to the shower sump - no holes drilled.

I got the Sanyo online from Costco for under $200. That was about 7 years ago and I haven't had any trouble with it.

I pulled the Norcold and replaced it with a 5.9...

I pulled the Norcold and replaced it with a 5.9 cu/ft Sanyo. The Sanyo is frost-free, has a light in it, cools better, has lasted twice as long as the Norcold and cost 1/4 the price.

It might just be a shifter slightly out of neutral. Cycle the shift lever into forward or reverse and back to neutral and see if it fixes it.
