No longer have a Maxum sold it at end of 2012 .......... I would happily have bought another if they were still...

Finally sold on my Maxum

Been very happy with my 1800SR3... but time to change ... and here it is after my last trip out in it .... still looking as good as new.

Just thought I'd post follow up .... I tried all connections ... nothing wrong, contacted Faria .... they issued replacement gauge free of charge .... (via UK agents) so well done Faria.

maybe my description was wrong .... it works correctly the time, what is happening occasionally is when you drop engine reve ... its stays at previous reading.
Even with engine off it was reading...

My Maxum 1800SR3 has the standard Faria 0-6000 rpm rev counter ......... with a built in Hour meter.

End of last season the needle would often blip upwards .. as if jumping 500rpm .... but no...

However when I had to get replacement hydraulic cylinders .. I just got generic parts from Overtons. On their catalogue...

Trailer Brake Assembly Spares

Just carried out pre-season service on my boat trailer and find that one of the brake shoe springs has snapped.

Absolutely wrong.
They are adjustable, they have a number of holes to allow you to tune them to the hull .... should you want to have more force on...

Hmmm ... wonder where the other end of the wire pops out then ... assume one connected to sw is 'live' the dissed off connector the switched live ... so presumably the other end of cream wire is...

While looking at a Tacho issue ... I noticed that the 2 switches marked A on the dash have wires disconnected.

I had assumed that A meant that the switch enabled the DC accessory outlets - am I...

My Tacho works 90% of the time .... then occasionally it blips upwards by a couple of 1000 ... sometimes 'kicking' needle from tru position to much higher position 5 or 6 times ... then settles back...
