I bought a replacement port-a-potty for my 1989 2300 at Wal-Mart. It was a perfect fit. If you don't want to go to Wal-mart try a camper (RV) parts store. Good Luck

I found the gear ratio stamped on the left hand...

I found the gear ratio stamped on the left hand side of the outdrive right below the oil vent.
On a 1989 Alpha 1 the gear ratio is 1.47
