Take off the door. You should be able to find replacements at ACE, Home Depot or Lowes. They are pretty standard. I think I found mine at Home Depot. They're pretty cheap.

No. Those are the replacements with matching runners. I had a friend that used a darker brown carpet which looked beautiful and didn't show stains. Much better in the long run and less dated.
