Post Site under new management

Hi Everyone! I realized I didn't have the time to keep working on Maxum Owners Club like I once did. A while back Andy R from Social Knowledge approached me about buying the site and we had lots of discussions on why this would make sense. Once I felt comfortable I decide to go ahead and sell them the site so please welcome Andy & Janet to the club.

Thanks!
Jonathan

Thanks for the introduction Jonathan. I'm honored for you to entrust us with Maxum Owners Club.

A little about me. I started my first forum in 2002. It grew and I found forums fascinating. A few years later I decided to dedicate myself to fostering the best forums around. It's been 10 years since I decided to work with forums full time and it's been a very special part of my life.

Over the years I was blessed to meet some amazing people through the forums. You will see some new faces around here. Janet helps with community management working with the mods/admins, Jeff helps with technical stuff, Andy Staple is a graphics guy, Jake makes sure our servers are secure and our backups are working.

As for plans for Maxum Owners Club, we'll install a new skin to spruce up the look of the site shortly. We'll setup smartphone access though Tapatalk and a showcase system so everyone can show off their beautiful boats. We are all ears so if you have some ideas on features that would make Maxum Owners Club better, please let us know.

If you have any other questions, please let me know!

Regards,

Andy

New landlords! You think we can finally get the toilets fixed, and the air conditioning working? 😃

"We'll setup smartphone access though Tapatalk...."

That is the best news I've read on this site in 8 years!

Jhabers did a great job creating and maintaining this space. Not only as site owner and Admin. but also as site member and a Maxum owner. Many thanks for everything you've done. I'm not going to say goodbye because I assume you'll remain a member and check in from time to time.

The warmest welcome to Janet and Andy. I look forward to the changes a new perspective and new energy (not that Jhabers didn't have plenty ) will bring to the site.

Thankyou Jhabers for your committment to the Maxum Owners site hope you stay involved as a member. Thanks Janet and Andy for having energy, vision, and committment for updating this site and assuring that it lives on. With the Maxum manufacturer out of business, sites like this become the life blood to help Maxum boat owners keep the investments in ship shape!
