Boating has a steep learning curve. The manuals are really a collection of documentation by the third party vendors. Engines, transmissions, outdrives, trim tabs, head, A/C, stove, all have their own documentation.
The boat manual is generic. There are really only 2. One for all sport boats and one for all cruisers.
This is why Forums are so popular. You can also ask neighbors on the dock. When you own a boat that size you either learn to be plumber, electrician and basic mechanic, or you make sure your fountain pen is full of ink and you have a new book of checks in your checkbook.
