Default water leak starboard side coming into cabin

Had a heavy rain and the head liner now is damp to the touch. Looked in the anchor compartment thought maybe coming from the running light but doesn't seem to be the source. Noticed the area where the rub rail is appears to be discolored inside. Anybody have issues with water coming in behind the rub rails?
Thank you,

Pete welcome aboard.

Based on your other post you have a 3300 model. Rail stanchions and rub rails are common leak points as boats get orders especially if one happens to hit a dock to hard once in a while. Once it drys try using a hose an soak small areas at a time to see if you can find the leak.

Thanks Mike. That is the plan for now and hopefully I can find it. I do know that I have never (yet), hit a dock hard. One thing I have learned through many years of boating is slow and steady. Now, the previous owner??
Have a good day,
Pete
