Default Trailer Needy

New owner to a 2008 24' SC3. I am interested in buying, renting, sharing a trailer. My boat is in the water in Newport Beach and I don't own a trailer. My use of the trailer would be quite limited. I have looked on the used boat trailer market with not much luck. Any input or ideas?

Welcome aboard.

Seems like loading and unloading of a shared trailer would not make this a favorable option. Have priced a new trailer and compared that cost to the cost and time of unloading and blocking the boat?

What is the need for the trailer? You are going to spend around 3 to 5 grand for a new trailer. Depends on the all the bells and whistles that you get. So is it all worth it for what you are going to spend?

Good luck

Most people who trailer their boats store their boats on the trailer as well. Where would the boats be stored when not being hauled?

Dean .... I would invest in a trailer. A trailer for your 2400, double axle trailer with brakes would be worth the money spent and also if you ever decide to sell.

Try listing in the wanted section of your local craigslist. Make sure it's a sturdy trailer as the road between Flagstaff and Page is rough and very hard on equipment.
