Default Steering cable for SC3 2006

Dear members,
Good Day.
Just recently I become owner of 2006 SC3 which unfortunately I can't use because of damaged steering cable. Previous owner replaced cable with different kind with no any description on it. Please advice original specification of steering cable for my boat if you know that I may order a new one. Engine is Mercruiser 5.0 mpi. On the attached photo, you nay see what damage occured.
Thanks in advance

Welcome aboard

You should be able to measure the length of the cable you have then have a parts guy match it to a Teleflex cable.

Thread moved from "Welcome Mat | New Member Introductions" to "Maxum General".

It sounds like the challenge is the cable he has doesn't match either the shifter or shift plate now, so he doesn't want another mix-matched cable from Teleflex.

Shrew it’s the steering cable not shifter. Although the picture is either a shift or throttle cable. May be his problem.
