Thanks Sea Puppy! Its a sweet boat.. perfect for what i want to do with it. Yeah living at the beach is a great plus.. born and raised! This boat is a costly toy though. but that comes with it of course.

Here are a few pictures of my 1800. Its a 1998 with a mercruiser 3.0.
I live in South Wales, UK and so don't see as much sun as most of you guys.
I keep it at the local marina for a few months a year and in my garage for the rest.
This is the second year that I've owned it and its been great fun so far.

Thanks Dan!
I've taken good care of her over the years, it still has that new fiberglass resin smell when you take the cover off.
That smell always reminds me of the first time the dealer cut open the factory shrink wrap and we went inside for the first time. We had just happen to stop by the dealer that day when she was delivered.

I know that smell George, was thinking the same thing when I un-covered mine last weekend in order to bring it home for its spring cleaning - still has that resin smell.

Ours is a 2004 2400 SC3 that we bought about 3 years ago. We'd gone down to a marina/broker to look at a different boat. That one wasn't particuarly nice but the SC3, sitting right next to it, was in great shape, had more power, a better drive, and fewer hours (only 74!), and had just become available that morning - it wasn't even listed yet. Bought it that day.

Dan
