Do you have a stern anchor out as well? Too close to the rock for my liking.. Especially with the wind on that lake.

Sharp Looking Vessel Troy. Question: do you miss the walk thru windshield? One of the casualties of the center companionway entrance I guess?

Enjoy it!

Love it, had it since Bella was just a pup. Made by a co. called Wesbar. I know they got sued by a bunch of Douche bag blood sucking lawyers and they stopped production. I think they or sombody started to make them again tho. You buy them by the rung. google the name and you may find it.

Hey Philbo,

This picture shows it retracted. Mine is a 7 step model. I mounted a stainless Jeep Hood Latch to secure it. They are removeable and are mounted with two push pins that act as hinges. I replaced them with keyed alike stainless locks because these babies are worth over 500 smackers new. The remake models look just like the original plus the model in the picture is SA-MOKIN HOT too!! lol!!

At first I did. But the gunnels are wide enough to get from bow to stern very easily. not like my 2800 which was like walking a tight rope lol

Yeah it looks like She has pretty wide Catwalks. I just wondered how you hop up there when the Eisen glass is up? You know how fast things can happen when you are boating and the need to act quickly to avoid whatever lol!! For that reason in a perfect world I think that boat designers should be made to do two things:

1. Actually work and perform maintenance on their design. I’m referring to the absolute idiocy in placement of components and their difficult access.

2. Be forced to spend a week actually piloting the boat and interacting with it to see the Pro’s and Con’s in their design.

Don’t get me wrong, every boat is a compromise but it baffles me why Maxum would miss such a basic core feature in design?

Enjoy your Biggn’!
