Default Seat still bowed

2002 2700 SCR - The flip-up seat ( where cooler goes) is still bowed. I checked to see if I had some kind of support, but all I could find is the bar used for the sun pad. There doesn't seem to be anyplace to put anything. I was thinking that I could purchase (Home depot) a flat bar and screw it under the seat, that could then rest on each side under the seat. Any other ideas?

Thanks all.

Bill.

I'd use an angle bar rather than flat br...flat bar would just bow again...but the aluminum angle bar would hold it's strength...
use stainless steel screws ..

Here are three ideas:

1) You could contact your nearest dealer and try to get an original replacement bar.
2) Just get a cooler that fits and add a block or something to the top. Or,
3) Cut a shower curtain rod.
