Default Refinishing white vinyl seats

I just refinished my vinyl seat covers on my Maxum 2400. Eighteen year old vinyl. Seams were all good but covering looked bad , were stained in places and couldn't be cleaned to look good. I googled refinishing vinyl seats and found a video of a person using a vinyl spray paint from Rustoleum. You have to order a six pack of spray (I used all six cans). The spray job was easy except for removing the seats from the boat. (bolts were ss but the nuts inserted in wood were not ss) The new coating is flexible and the seats look new. Five or six thin coats with about 10 or 15 min between coats.

Default Update from Lane

Do not have a pic, however, the seats look new and feel new. Google repainting vinyl boat seats and find the youtube video. I put on six thin coats and it covered all mildew damage. I ordered a six pack of spray from Home Dep.

Thanks lane2, I did take a look and I think I’m going to give it a try on the piece over the cluster as it is quite toasted to see how it looks. If you hadn’t posted I wouldn’t have even considered it so thanks again.

I used the SEM product on mine. Came out great. There's a primer that must be applied first that cleans and "softens" the vinyl.

Before

After

I had vinyl repair done and they painted the area to blend in the repair. That paint got dirty and wouldn’t come clean.
How has the SEM held up?

Not bad. Cleans up pretty good. Requires occasional touch up but they still look good and waaaay cheaper than new vinyl.

What color number or color name did you purchase ?
The seats in my 2002 2300 look like an off white. I was wondering if there is a part number for the correct paint shade.
