I have a 200 33 Ft maxim with twin 7.4 motors. Last trip out unable to get over 3000 RPM. Temp, oil and charging OK. starts great. Also have an exhaust leak somewhere getting into cabin. Any suggestions.

Are both engines experiencing the same issue? Carbed or MPI?

Does it plane at that RPM? Sounds like something is creating a LOT of drag.

Just came from the Sea Ray Dealer after having talked with tech. It seems he had same diagnosis. Dragging weeds, barnacles etc may be cause of Problems... Will be talking it to a cove next week to scrub the bottom.. The boat was bottom painted two years ago can't believe it and in fresh water??? will give it a try Thanks for the info.

A year 200 is a very old boat.

Assuming you meant 2000.

I would first check for bottom growth and post back.

Exhaust leaks can be deadly so dont wait to fix this.

Welcome aboard Baghdad Billy!!!

I'm surprised an exhaust leak isn't accompanied by a water leak somewhere in the manifolds, risers or elbow.

An exhaust manifold to cylinder head will not be accompanied with a water leak but all other leaks will.
