I cleaned the heck out of the boat today.

Some mice infiltrated it over the winter so I have also been in the process of exterminating them lol. Their were little nut shells and other miscellaneous crap all over it lol. Thank god the 3m vinyl mill dew and mold cleaner contained bleach. So not only does the boat look clean it is also disinfected.

I also pulled and unsuccessfully tried to charge the battery. It is shot, and it will need replaced. My girlfriend is already calling it the money pit lol. The battery will have to wait till the first of the month though. Im a disabled vet and uncle sam only pays us once a month on the first. The title, registration, and taxes took all of my extra funds for the month lol. But I still have some time before boating weather comes around up where I live.

Today I also battled the faded exterior of the hull. The maroon and black on it are getting pretty chalky and dull. I unsuccessfully tried 4 different rubbing and cleaning compounds. But there was no miraculous change to its appearance. They would go on good and then after ten min it would fade back to being chalky. Does anyone know of some secret weapon I can use against the foggy hull?

More to come in a few :-)

The boat vacuum machine has been turned on. It is now firmly attached to your wallet now. It will amaze you the velocity of how fast your hard earned dollars will move in and out of your wallet and attach itself to this bottomless pit called a boat.

Be cautious but have fun.

I would still think it's and Alpha 1 Gen 2 and not a Gen 1.

B.O.A.T = Break Out Another Thousand ;-)

Try using 1500 wet dry sandpaper by hand moving back and forth (no circles) on the hull, them buff and wax.

Feel you way around the side of the engine looking for cracks.

Where are you located in PA?

Last ones.

Here's the chalky hull lol.

And here is a pic of the 23 year old interior. Cleaned up pretty good for being so old lol.

I will take some more pics of the inside of the boat later.
