Default " lost engine com " fault message

Hi all .. Need help .. I have a 2007 2700 SE and yesterday as i was heading back to dock I noticed that message also my gas gauge was still show full even though I had been boating all weekend , my tach works and my boat run great .. Any ideas or solutions ?? Also it was working before I beached my boat , but not after I started it ... My stern drive was in deeper water ....also the left message gage is blank where it tells the pitch trim 1-10 .. Thanks all

Do you have the smart craft set up?

Sounds like the communications between the computer and helm is not working. Probably going to need merc diagnostic tools to troubleshoot it.

I read a post that said to turn batteries off then turn back on and turn key and Bingo .... It worked .... ��������������

Glad that worked, kind of like a PC I had that would loose the mouse interface and would resolve itself with a reboot. Hopefully this does not occur to often.
