I made all new doors for my 2800 last year including the cabin door which previous owner made out of Baltic birch ply. Old one must have broke. The king starboard is great material which is good against UV and almost impossible to break. closest match to maxum interior is "seaform" color. what you have there is an acrylic which can crack/break much easier.
A sheet 4 x 8 x 1/2" goes for $125 from my vendor who supplies us plywood and such.
certainly a bummer but you're getting it at a good price.

I too well be having a new cabin door made eventually, the previous owner told me the boat was broken into and the door was cracked where the lock mounts to it....she had the door repaired by glueing it back together so it works fine, its just not pretty! The stock door has a grey tint to it but is see through, I want to go with maybe a solid white similar to the rear hatches, which would provide us with a bit more privacy, currently if we are sterned into the dock, and the lights are on in the cabin, you can see right into the v birth.

This is why there is a number of boaters who don't lock their boats. The theory is, the lock isn't actually preventing the theft, it is creating a repair project because they will get in if determined to do so.

The other school of thought is a thief will go from boat to boat and prey on the easiest target (the one unlocked). I don't keep anything of value on the boat. I suspect I have had trespassers on several occasions, though nothing has been broken or stolen as of yet, so who knows.
