Heartbreaking. In the first video the surge and tide was already very close to the boat lift that Pro-Line was sitting on. The wind and waves don't look like they had kicked up yet. Odd they didn't see that coming and pull the boat off of the lift ahead of time. by the time the storm hit it was way too late.

My boat: high tie it was over the dock 24" at 8:30am.

at 9:00am the surge and the wind pushed the boat against my fence when the belt line crack the boards, 8'-0" over the dock.

but, those 2x6 where old and rotton, so the fendor actually road on the vertical boards.

The Maxuim across the canel pulled the floating dock up to 90 degrees, which could have swapped the boat.

I was playing McGyver, with a hammer and nails in chest high water......
