Default Hi to everyone at Maxum Owners Club

Hi, just bought my first Maxum and what a great boat! I have a 1996 Maxum 1900 SR slightly ageing but the 4.3 ltr V6 runs like new after a rebuild, and the hull is in pretty good nick hoping to use it for wakeboarding and will be fitting a tower very soon. I live in the UK and will be using it in Plymouth around the estuary for those of you who know Plymouth you will know where I mean. Maybe see some other members out enjoying there Maxum.

Well as I am new thought I would say hello before jumping down members throats asking questions. But here goes, I am looking for a panel, I think its an air vent. I have trawled the net and found nothing, any help would be great. I will post picture below, thanks in advance.

Hi Bluemax1996! Welcome aboard! It's always great to hear from new members and new boat owners as well. The first thing I'd suggest is seeing if they have any in stock. beleive it or not, there is a lot of spare parts still found at the factory. You can call a local Searay/Bayliner dealer or call Customer Service directly.

You might luck out and find they have it in stock. They won't sell it to you directly, but they can give you the part number to order it through a dealer. also try Great Lakes Skipper:

They have lots of odd parts for a variety of boats. You might need to search under Bayliner for some parts. It will list it if it's a Maxum part specifically in the description.

Godd Luck.

Hi, thanks for your advice, I have looked at the link to customer support and emailed them, nothing yet and great lake skippers didn't have the bit. Is there anywhere else I could try?

Thanks again

I wouldn't expect that you'll have as much luck with E-mail as you would by simply calling them:

USMarine 1-866-937-8202 ext 2
Maxum Boats customer care - 360-435-8957

In case you are unaware (I'm sure you are, so I apologize) in order to call internationally from UK to the US, you will need to preface the number with "001".

So for you the numbers should be:

USMarine 001-866-937-8202 ext 2
Maxum Boats customer care - 001-360-435-8957
