Default Haul-out-when do you?

Sad day today....after a great afternoon of jet skiing went in to make my haul-out date of october 23 at our marina for our maxum 3000scr. So 4 weeks to go and my boat gets put away for winter. Get the blocks out and the shrink wrap gun, here comes winter.

So my question to all of you ....how much longer for your boat .....when do you haul-out and where does the boat go?

Roger

Gee Roger thank's for reminding us, you could of at least waited till october 1

Since I keep my boat in a high and dry it's hauled out when ever not in use. As far as winterizing it I do it myself and typically have it done by the end of october, all depends on the weather.

I said it was a sad day.....I was just curious what others do. I know with myself its first get the head pumped out then drain the water system fill with the pink stuff and etc etc etc.

I don't mind also having some decent weather to do all this too, especially when I shrink wrap the boat.

3rd or 4th week in October depending on forecast. Will haul it myself , winterize and store in driveway for a long cold winter.
I agree, it is a sad day but I'm putting it off for a bit.

Nicer the weather the longer it stays in but generally late October. I winterize and cover myself, so much fun! Lol... Put her to bed and break out the ski gear then dream of May....

I hauled this weekend. Winterized the boat on Sat. Shrink wrapped on Sun. I pulled a little soon, but I have a few other commitments I have to take care of this year.

Gee I know what those commitments do to boating sometimes.

Shrew, I hope to go jet skiing tuesday and wednesday still in the 80's, but after thursday it looks like that toy will be put up for the year.

biggerseagar - Yes, I usually haul my boat out to service the outdrive, wax the hull and and power wash the bottom in late Feb or early Mar. I keep my boat moored on Lake Washington and we occasionally get some nice boating days on the Puget Sound in the off season.

Got my boat out last year in september (due to a knee replacement) but that was way to early.
i am thinking of getting it out somewhere in november to do the winterizing and maintainance.
after that i am thinking of yust popping it back in the water and tow it back to it's spot.
having it next to my house hasen't been working out that great for me.

Roger,
mine comes out october 20th, then is down hill from there until march. thats when I start thinking about boating again, I try to forget about it in the winter because I suffer too much if I do... I keep mine on land at the yacht club.

We trailer + she's stored in a garage so we're able to head out all year as well.

Yes thanks. We really like it. Now my buddy Shawn "TMF" here just got a Maxum 2400 SC3 and I'm anxious to do a few winter cruises with him and his bride.

The garage is great to keep things heated, protected and maintenance on sh!tty days.
