i just had my new drive in today :mrgreen:


just got to fit it .any tips will be nice.

congrats....

however...make sure the engine is aligned or your gonna eat up things like U-joints or coupler....that can get real expensive real quick..

can i put the old uj shaft in like the tool.has i got that in bits.
will that do the same thing?

I would.

Just take off the orings. As long as it goes in nice and smooth with no binding it should do fine.
Congrats and use the measure twice cut once rule when assembling.

actually there is a long, about 5' long shaft that fits into the back of the shaft...then you turn the engine over ..where it should show you if it's out of alignment...if your not sure..tkae it to a pro...let them align the engine and you can add the drive later...but engine alignment is a very serious step..

the last time i put the old drive back on it did fit in nice with no probs.
