Question Fuel tank on my 2300 scr is leaking

I have to replace the fueltank. Has sombody experiance with this. Is it possible to get a construction manual for a 1991 Maxum 2300 scr.

Sorry no such manual.

Typically the engine has to come out and the bulkhead at the back end of the tank cut out and most likely the midberth floor. The tank will have foam around it that has to be cut out to access the tanks mounting hardware. Not a fun job.

For ideas and pictures of this on other boats go to BOC site (Bayliner), as it is a rather common thing on them. Also many Maxums were made in the same factories as Bayliner.
