Default fuel tank capacity 3000 SCR

The 2000 Owner's manual for my 3000SCR with twin 5.0 mercruisers lists the fuel capacity at 150 gallons. Is that a total for both engines (150 gallons) or for each engine (total of 300 gallons)?

NS............ double nope........ two 75 gallons tanks............I have a 2001 3000 and what you have is the samething for what I got.......... which is two 75 gallon tanks on each side.

Also each tank goes to that side of engine. So you could run out of gas on your port side and still have gas on your starboard side...............cool huh?

We have a 1999 3000 SCR, the tanks are the same - 75 gallons on each side... If you have a GENSET, take a look to see which tank (port or starboard) it is connected to - one tank will require additional volume of fuel then the other especially when running the generator a lot. Happy Boating - its a great boat - enjoy!!!
