Wow...actually for the type of waters that thing plys..I'd say it's down right functional.....but the interior is gorgeous....reminds me of a stephens hull or one of those canal boats.....

I think it has it's own elegance too it.....

on a side note....1)it's good to see ed back here ....2)I thought I was gonna have to send him to bann camp for cussing on the site!!...I gotta learn some norwegy or something...I thought he was cussing us out or something!!!...didn't know he was talkin norwegy agin!!.ond:

I kinda like the Lissen. It looks pretty stout and seaworthy. What's not to love about an enclosed bridge and aft cabin. About the only thing I didn't like was the dual settee's. It looks like a restaurant down below. How about a space for lounging, like a couch? I don't sit in the dining room or kitchen table all day and night at home, why would I want to on a boat?

Amsterdam is filled with these live in boats, and low profile for the bridges, I live in the knock-off city of New Amsterdam.

It's kinda high end house boat, and with a tug shape, all weather, but the cockpit is a convertible canvas and the mass folds down for low clearances.

Like the fighter jets in the 1960's, they where not good fighters, or good bombers when you made a hyber function.

Anyone rememeber the German http://www.amphicar.com/ ? poor for a car and poor for a boat...... water upto the door handles?... crazy.

This boat fits a lot of fuctions into a hull, and the outside shape is the end result..... like the rear gang plake hanging off.

But, to be fair, the Maxum triple deck sedan bridge is an abortion on the waves in my opinion.....

dusseldorf was oke......but because of the crisis dollars are expensive to buy so american boats are more expensive at this moment then they ever were last years....

bayliner 285 with extended swimplatform and all the options in the netherlands around 130.000 euro (around 170.000 dollar) but in germany the same boat 92.000 euro (around 120.000 dollar)

what's the price in the US for that boat??????

greatz, ed
