Default 2009 Maxum 2100 SC3- parts availability question

Hello
I am a new forum member and just purchased a 2009 Maxum 2100 SC3. I love the boat, but am wondering about the availability of trim and other parts since this is a discountinued line. I do realize that Brunswick made other brands and some parts may still be available. Can anyone tell me if common wear items such as the foam "thing" in the rear storage compartment door(accessed from the swim platform) is available? How about other wear items such as the chrome rub rails? Just basic things that tend to get damaged or worn over time?

Sorry about the poor description of the foam "thing" but I have no idea what it is called or what it is for. It is about 100 cm long and is part of the rear storage door and is disintegrating.

thanks!

Welcome aboard

Other than the hull all other components are made by marine suppliers that all manufactures use from companies such as Perko, Taylor Made, ... and many more. Engine and outdrive are Mercruiser. All still in production however they may no long make the exact part one can find ones that are close enough.

The foam is a sound deading material or heat shield cannot be certain from your description. This can be found with a simple Google search.

Thank you for the reply

This is the piece I am talking about (circled in yellow)

So individual trim pieces, handles, latches, etc are basically not available from Brunswick for this brand anymore?

None of the things you mention came from Brunswick to begin with. They are all third party. Perko, Taylor, Todd, Bomar, etc.

Most everything is available, however not from Brunswick. If your referring to padded marine vinyl, a canvas shop can fabricate what you need.
