On my boat this is where the mercathode is mounted, blue box.

I will post pictures. Remember also that this is a 4bbl setup not FI.

yes 4 bbl as I have, I was just making a statement about what I have seen mounted on the port riser when I mentioned throttle body FI.

Hi All,
Finally found the problem...turned out #8 spark plug had ZERO gap. Must have been dropped when someone installed it and didn't notice the fupah!
Maxum/Chevy v8.0 runs like a scalded dog now. With two on board we hit 53 MPH!
We had a great rest of the summer and are looking forward to next year.
