Default 1800 SR3 No Power to Ignition Switch

I just purchased a used 2008 SR3 with 4.3 190HP merc. I have power to everthing - horn, power trim, lights (not guages as they run through the ignition switch) but there is no power to the ignition switch. I have checked the fuses that I know off but must be missing something - any help would be appreciated!! Thanks

Silly question but you d have the isolator switched on don't you? - most of the dash functions without it.

If it is, then you need to grab a multimeter and begin testing, is there power in the cable coming to the ignition switch? if not, you could continue testing, or.... take it to a dealer... its under warranty so I'd let them deal with it as it could quickly become a real pain in the ass..

check on the engine for a curcuit breaker, check down by the starter for a big red connector with a fuse in it. Make sure your kill switch with the red lanyard is up. sometimes there is a DC main switch by the battery selector switch.
Hope this helps
