Default Through hull fitting replacement

Here's something I haven't done yet - replace a thru-hull fitting. Any tips on methods and sources for the fittings? Figure I may as well replace them both, the "good" one is pretty dry looking.

Yea there probably all deteriorating.

They are bedded in 4200 from 3M. Use a board that spans the fitting so that you can put blocking between it and the hull the another piece across the inside opening of the fitting with a piece of all-thread connecting them. As you tighten nuts on the all-thread it will pull the fitting out.

When installing the new one rebed with 4200.

Clever, I like that - thank you. Thinking I may replace these with ones made of 316 stainless. Found some here Marine Hardware, Thru Hulls, Barbed Mushroom

They will look nice. You know once you replace these two with SS you'll want to replace all of them.
