I have not but if you are concerned about the trip find a local boating club out of Florida and go with a group the first time.

What part of the Bahamas are you wanting to explore? I recommend the Exumas!

Planning a trip from Ontario, Canada . Would like to see has much as possible. That is a great idea, thanks. Maybe we could get a Maxum group to do the trip.

Go to Home - America's Great Loop Cruisers' Association for all sorts of info!

Some boaters cross over at Miami.

Your trip is all apart of the great loop.

Good luck

There used to be another Maxum site run by James Clausen. He did the Great loop more than once. There is still access to some materials even though the site is down.

Was in Abacos several years ago and saw a 41 SCA there.

I know the previous owner had the boat 'homeported' over there in SEP'14 - JAN'16. Mostly in the Exumas, but did cruise the Abacos also.

Could be that one. I was in Exumas one year and Abacos the following during that time frame. Was on my friends boat. BTW, I THINK I recall the Maxum was from Canada...but not sure (I'm getting forgetful lately). Not sure how to do this....but have you any concerns with Port engine exhaust design?
