Default Rub rail insert

I have a 1997 4600SCB and am looking to replace the 3/4' rub rail insert that is on the fly-bridge. Not having much luck finding an off white insert. "TACO" moldings has something close but only in white or black which won't work. Any suggestions??? Also looking for replacement lights for the exterior step/courtesy lights. Any help would be mucho appreciated.

I have yet to see a 4600SCB with the rub rail insert actually in the rail frame. I put 30' of inexpensive led lighting there instead. $10 for 16' of waterproof led lighting. (AliExpress.com). At one time I considered ordering the insert from The Boat Center. They used to be a Maxum dealer. They may be able to get the part still

Thanks for the reply. Do you have a couple pics you could send me that shows where you put it? Maybe a shot from a couple feet away so I could see what it looks like. Sounds like a great Idea. A good e-mail is kdackerman@msn.com

Thanks

Mine is okay but I would also like to see what it's like with the led's. I was thinking of putting LEDs behind the air intakes.

I'll try to get some pic's of the lights mounted on the bridge this weekend. I also put a 5m (16') strip behind each vent cover. I'll look for a picture tonight. These are the lights. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/5m-30...719309312.html

What did you use at the rear under the swim platform?

I installed 4 led under water lights. Here are pics of the bridge led lights.

Thanks for the pics. I like what you did. In the first pic there is also a courtesy light shown. Did you add that too.? I need to replace a bunch of mine and am having trouble finding the right size.

Yes I added some courtesy lights a few years ago. They used to be available on eBay. I just checked and they are no longer there.

If it's not made by Taco, then it's made by Barbour Plastics. I just went through the same thing with my 3700SY arch and swim platform rub rail + inserts. If you have the part number, call the Bayliner customer support and they will tell you if they have the insert in stock. In my case they did and I ordered it through a local dealer. If they don't they can tell you who made it and if it's Barbour, I believe they can cross reference the bayliner part #.

Thanks for the reply. You were spot on , it was Barbour Plastics for the insert. They do have it but in black only. I think I'll try it.
Again I appreciate the info.
