Default Replacing AC on '99 SCA rear berth

Has anyone replaced the AC on the SCA under the rear berth/bed. Marine Air 16,000 BTU that is original. I'm trying to figure out how to remove the bed's lower platform to gain access. The service opening at the head of the bed doesn't seem large enough to pull out the old one. When the compressor kicks-on....it trips the circuit breaker. Right now it looks like I have to remove the bed's padded head rest and that seems really complex/questionable. Any suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks.

Just in case you need to change the air conditioner on the 41 SCA, let me know. I completed it last week and will post the process with pics if you would like.

That would be helpful. It would allow anyone to find it in a search.
