Default question about stringer drain holes on 3500

for those of you with 3500's (and up I would assume), do you guys have drain holes between the center bilges the the stringers by the engines?
Mine does not have any, so essentially over time, rain water will find its way under the engines and has no where to drain to the center bilge pump, and thus it will sit there until I get my happy behind down and pump it out....was this omitted at the factory on my boat or are all of them build this way? I see this as a design flow....I'm thinking about adding a drain whole/pipe on each side to help keeping things dry(er).

My boat is much smaller (2500 scr) and I do have drain holes through the stringers all the way in the back next to the transom so the water eventually gets into main bilge area.

yeah I'm talking about the 2 stringers where the engines are bilted to. No drain holes anywhere, so i always get stagnant water there... you would think there wiuld be to allow it to drain to the center where i have 2 pumps...

The holes are left out intentionally. If something happens and the engine drops its oil or fuel it won't be pumped out by your bilge pump. Yes, it's a pain in the butt.

On my 3200, the limber holes are all the way aft.

I thought that as well....then I started looking at the design of single engine boats in general and they do not have a tray that would isolate the oil from being pumped out, as they sit on center line of the boat, so in my mind that's not the reason...ah well, just wanted to know for sure, I'll probably remedy that one of those days...

My 2800 has limber holes between all the stringers, draining everything into the center bilge. They would be all the way stern against the transom.

I just bought an SCR3700 and it appears to have the same issue. i haven't dug all the way back to the transom yet to see if there are holes but are simply blocked. For now I'm bailing...

If you look closely in the forward engine compartments on both sides a drain has been fitted but is sealed on the engine side. If you were to drill several holes in these pipes you will have adequate water drainage back into the bilge.
