Welcome Paul

I am not familiar with this fault but other may know however it may help to know what engines you have; gas, diesel, what size.

There are twin 350 mercs
Gas it's says the fault is on the port engine. The mercruiser fault guide states contact dealer

Did a little searching and did not come up with much so far.

Smart craft code, if not equipped with full instrument (digital) some codes will exist. I am taking it this is a new fault as it's only on now engine.

From what I recall if smart craft is not set up properly for twins one computer acts funky one thus communication buss.

Not sure if it was an existing fault
As,i have just purchased the boat
It was in storage for a year
So it may have been an existing fault
And nobody repaired it
I just had new, alternatirs fitted on both engines and the technical didn't notice it

Do you have the smart craft digital gauge package?

If not this may not be an issue from some of what I read but not 100% sure.

Do the boat run fine and no audio alarms just stored code?
