Default 2004 Maxum 3100 trim tabs

Can someone tell me what are the size (dimensions) of the trim tabs on the Maxum 3100? I am in the process of purchasing one and noticed that one of the trim tab is missing. The actuator is still on and works. I need to order a new one. Would be great to get a part number. I think it's a Bannett trim tab with the downward side fins. Thank you.

Why not measure the remaining tab?

Hi Philbo. My offer to buy the boat was just accepted yesterday. We noticed one of the trim tab was missing. I did not get the chance to measure it. I am having it surveyed and would like to order the trim tab to replaced at that time. It's part of the deal ...

I would call Bennett and give them your model and year. Might want to replace them both.

How does a boat lose a trim tab?

I wouldn't be spending money on a boat you don't own. How do you get reimbursed for fixing his boat should you decide to walk away as a result of the results of the survey and sea trial?

Have the owner fix the tab as part of the P&S. You made an offer on a boat you assumed had working trim tabs. This is not your responsibility. It's the owners responsibility to make sure his boat shows and behaves in the best poosible light.
