Welcome to the website Shag................Greeting form Peoria. Are you going to be boating on the Illinois river? Are you north of Starved Rock?

Admiral and I with our 2001 3000SCR really enjoy ours out on the river. Didn't take the trip this year but going up to Starved Rock Marina for a three day weekend the past year was a great time.

Roger.

Hi Biggerseagar yep I'm on the Illinois river I belong to southshore boat club, we are just before Starved rock in Peru. I usually get down to Peoria at once a year if not more. Where do you slip your boat at in the summer? Here is a pic of the new boat in storage right now. 100_2494_00.1.jpg

Well,, our boat is out of the water,, i didnt get to see the bottom before it was cleaned,,, I'm sure the bottom was very crudded up from the bay, and i know the props were uglied up with barnacles,,, I'm thinking stainless props next summer, never really liked the aluminum ones,, way too much flex,, especially on a bigger boat like the 32. I have a friend with a prop service business looking for new props already. Hope to get some realistic speed numbers fresh in the spring, looking for around 35 mph atleast,,,,,(I hope ),,,

My 1995 3200 Scr got up to around 70 mph. But that was when it was on a trailer being hauled up here. LOL.

Finally back online,,,,our '99 3200 with small blocks and b2's had a really bad bottom. I had never seen the boat out of the water, Once it was washed and scraped of about 2 million barnacles the boat really woke up. We now have a very nice cruise speed of around 26 mph at 3300 to 3400 rpms and a wfo over 40 mph! We paid much more attention to the bottom this summer.

Got my GPS installed on my 95 3200 scr with bravo 2s, at 3700 rpm it does about 28 MPH, with 5 people on board, 1/3 tank gas, water tank somewhat full, waste tank empty.
